Roots Soda Co. Craft soda made in Edinburgh, Scotland. Hello. We make low sugar sodas–for adults–from real ingredients. We do not outsource our manufacturing.

We create unique flavours containing ingredients such as beetroot, pink grapefruit, and rose, because we wanted innovative non-alcoholic drinks. We add raw cane sugar to our sodas, because it makes them more pleasant to drink. But our sodas contain 49-69% less sugar than most sodas when compared in equal measure. We do not use concentrates, artificial sweeteners, flavours, colours, or preservative

s. Instead, our sodas are made from real ingredients that are lightly processed. Lightly processed means that we squeeze fresh fruit and vegetables for their juice, which is then pasteurised. Fresh herbs and whole spices are steeped, or simmered, and then pasteurised too. Our pasteurised ingredients are then blended together with raw cane sugar and filtered water. We make and can our soda at our soda works in Granton, Edinburgh. We list all of our ingredients on our packaging, because we do not have secret recipes. That way, folks can make an informed choice about what they choose to put into their bodies.
