As marketing goes this fully works on me 😅
Nizza w**e is 100% Barbera from Nizza in Piedmonte 🇮🇹
It's nice and bold, so goes great with a tomatoey sauce, but has nice bright acidity that cuts through fatty cheese, making it a perfect pizza w**e (or lasagna, or perhaps some East Coast Cured charcuterie on a cheese board the choice is really yours)

A really intense w**e day today! Started off at W**es of Portugal Official level one somm course in Manchester, which coincidentally was on the same day as one of my supplier Autumn trade tastings! There was so much information, but Sofia broke it down really well 🇵🇹🍷

Didn't have enough hands to take any pictures at the tasting, but tried some absolutely brilliant new w**es and I'm so sooooo excited to get them in for you all to try!

As always, your tasting notes only have to make sense to you. But after 100 samples you sometimes wish you could remember what you meant by 〰️✔️:□
