Rating: (Butter) chicken you out / out of ten ✨

Every so often we get a craving, and that craving is 9 times out of 10 - Sabzi. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner we know we are going to be happy when we roll out the door. Our all time favourite is the butter chicken, but literally everything else we have tried is a very close second.

[Invite] Rating: let the good times (summer) roll / out of ten ✨

We headed down to Nami and what a gorgeous way to spend an afternoon!

Perched at The Shore with a glass of fizz in hand (and a couple of cocktails too), we watched the world go by while working our way through a seriously tasty menu.

We tried the Summer Rolls, Edamame, Sticky rice, Miso Aubergine, Shiitake Dan Dan Noodles, Prawn Crackers and a delicious chicken special. My absolute favourites were the Summer Rolls, packed with marinated oyster mushrooms, Thai basil and rice noodles, and the incredible Dan Dan noodles🤤

The food was fantastic, but the lovely service made the experience even better. And as a bonus, they’re dog-friendly too, so your four-legged friends are welcome to join.

A perfect spot for drinks, sharing plates and waterfront views. Thank you for having us, ♥️

Rating: better latte than never / out of ten ✨

New kids on the block have just opened. (Well, they aren’t new as they are in a few places around Edinburgh, but they have a new cafe!). Go check them out, and I’ll see you there.

Rating: wiener wiener sausage dinner / out of ten ✨

When in Berlin we had to eat traditional German food. It’s not an attractive food 😅, but I love a wee currywurst, this was a bit too large for me 😂. The Apfel Strudel was unreal though, and the beers were ginormous, so that’s fun!

This was Zum Lindenblatt, it came up as somewhere to try and I definitely think it’s for the tourists. We’re glad we tried it, but not sure we’d go back.

Heading to a breakfast place that’s famous for its egg sandwiches and both ordering French Toast is us in a nutshell 😂

This is and their toasted brioche, mascarpone cream, caramelised bananas, roasted almonds, maple syrup and cinnamon.

Yum.

Followed by being tourists ♥️

Rating: this is whisky business/ out of ten ✨

We fancied a wee bev after dinner in Berlin, and Old Fashioned’s were the goal. We heard about .bln and headed straight there, the only issue is we couldn’t find it at first 😂. Once we did, we were so happy.

The vibe was very cool, well dressed people everywhere, pool table taking up half the bar space, lounge-style seats with random things playing on projector. It was quiet but industrial chic and we loved it.

Rating : I avo crush on you / out of ten ✨

We were recommended to head to .bar.restaurant and we’re so glad we did. Although the booking system allowed us to book at 9, they didn’t actually open til 10. But that meant the lovely waitress offered to give us a tour of the restaurant and make us some delicious Bloody Marys.

The space is dreamy, open, industrial and you just know the parties in this place will be epic. The restaurant quickly filled up, and we devoured our breakfast.

I had the tostadas with spicy avocado cream and poached egg, Nick had the breakfast Sammy with hot sauce. Honestly, I think one of my favourite meals in Berlin.

An amazing start to a cold touristy day.

Rating: prosciutt(oh my goodness) / out of ten ✨

Yes, we’re in Germany, but we’re a sucker for an Italian and this one kept coming up as one to visit. As you can see ‘s Cocodrillo is a red neon dream, and I wish I could have interiors like this in my own home.

We shared the prosciutto do Parma, Nick had the Crazy San Marzano with straciatella and I had the Tagliata di Manzo (grilled rump steak). Followed by the Mousse al Cioccolato (dark chocolate mousse). Washed down with a few cocktails.

Everything was melt in your mouth delicious. Would 100% go back again, especially in summer as it’s inside a park and I imagine the outdoor tables are lush. The tables are so close together you do hear everyone’s conversations, but I’m nosy so loved that 😂

Rating: time to unwine(d) / out of ten ✨

For someone who is a stress head that doesn’t like small spaces, the elevator and crowds at the Berlin TV Tower were making me sweat. HOWEVER, once we got to the top and I was distracted by the wine and sunset, it was all good.

Stunning to watch, not sure I’d do it again. Except maybe for their dinner experience.

Rating: y’all bready for this / out of ten ✨

Champagne and chicken wings? My idea of heaven.

There was an insane queue for .bar in Berlin so we knew it was going to be good, and we were correct. I had the buffalo chicken wings with ranch, we shared a chopped salad and Nick had the tuna melt. Washed down with Rose & Blanc de Blancs.

It sounds simple, but having your favourite foods elevated to the next level was such an experience.

This day was also our WW2 and Cold War walking tour, which was unbelievably interesting, but also it was -8 and we were walking on black ice the whole time which was hilarious.
