We’ve recently revamped our drinks offering — including investing in all-new glassware (lovely little numbers from ) and refreshing the ‘house wine’ package for our wedding couples.

House wine often gets a bad rep: seen as the cheapest plonk on the menu, both in price and quality.

That’s not how we do things.

Choosing our house wines meant sampling 12 whites, 14 reds and 5 fizz options. Four of our team spent the afternoon with Philippe tasting, learning about,l and discussing each wine before deciding together which would work best as brilliant all-rounders for our house package.

Our house wines offer fantastic flavour and quality at great value. They’re the wines we kick off staff nights out with, wines we genuinely enjoy, stand firmly behind and happily recommend as delicious, drinkable favourites.

“House wine” should mean recommended by the house - and that’s exactly what ours are!

Today the team are catering a super fun wedding across at - Canadian bride 🇨🇦 Scottish groom 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 pomegranate margaritas 🍸 brunch for dinner (think chicken & waffles, eggs benny, the works!)

FUN FACT: the first wedding TECC ever catered was at Balmule House 🎉 11 years ago now! And so I took myself on a wee trip down memory lane and pulled out some snaps from our early days working at Balmule. Please do excuse the filters folks, it was 2015 🤪

Delighted to have built such a strong relationship with Franc and his team over the years, here’s to another decade of fabulous food in this gem of a venue!

Some snaps from a decadent hen weekend we catered at a couple of weeks ago.

The hens enjoyed a real mix of dining experiences - an elegant plated dinner in the stunning wood panelled Music Room; relaxed cheeseboards by the fire; and wood fired pizzas with sharing salads to ease them in to their lovely weekend together.

Cheers to Gemma + Eanna - celebrating their wedding at this weekend.

Cocktails were flowing - as were plenty pints of Guinness, it was an Irish wedding after all!

Thankfully Storm Dave didn’t cause too much havoc… though Ciaran was manning the fire table in a combination of torrential rain, blizzard, sun and hail… such is April weather in Scotland 🤪
