Good morning!

Here in our butter factory, our cream is culturing while the butter churn is hard at work. Beyond our factory doors, our delivery team is already on the road, bringing freshly churned cultured butter to bakeries, delis, restaurants, and artisan dessert makers across Scotland.

We loved seeing the journey of our butter at The Fudge House in Edinburgh - from the butter being delivered, to it being combined with other ingredients producing delicious handmade fudge which is then packaged up & ready to sell to their customers.

We hand deliver our butter all over Edinburgh, it is a great opportunity to catch up with our customers and see how our butter is used in their businesses.

🎉 We‘re honoured to be named a finalist!

We’re thrilled to share that our 1kg Unsalted Cultured Butter Sheet has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Dairy Product of the Year category at the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2026.

From churning small amounts for butter in our home kitchen in 2018 to supplying artisan bakeries across the UK today, it‘s been an incredible journey. Created for professional bakers, our cultured butter sheet is crafted to deliver exceptional flavour, consistency, and performance in every pastry.

We’ll be heading to Glasgow on 24 September for the Excellence Awards dinner, where we look forward to celebrating alongside our fellow finalists.

A heartfelt thank you to all the bakers, chefs, customers, partners, and supporters who have believed in us and chosen to bake with our butter. We‘re grateful to be part of such a passionate and talented baking community.

Discover Edinburgh Butter across the Royal Mile, Pleasance & The Meadows

If you’re exploring Edinburgh’s most loved neighbourhoods, you may come across Edinburgh Butter featured in a few local favourites along the way.

On the Royal Mile, The Fudge House The Fudge House features our butter in its award-winning handmade fudge, made using a traditional family recipe passed down through three generations.

From there, head towards Pleasance, where Gorse Bakery Gorse - Northern Irish Bakery, Edinburgh brings a modern touch to the city’s bakery scene with Northern Irish-inspired bakes, paired with seasonal Scottish ingredients for a fresh, distinctive flavour.
