After what seems like far too long…….we finally have a new website……..and a SHOP!!

Anyone looking to buy any of our butter or buttermilk that doesn’t have a stockist near them now can, feels like we’re emerging from the dark ages here at Butter HQ. This whole selling stuff online thing might actually catch on you know 😂😝

New products will be added as we go…….

UK shipping only at the moment…….

We’re working on the merchandise side now too, should be launched toward the end of the summer with T-shirts, Jumpers, Hoodies and some other goodies currently under wraps 🧈🧈🧈

Bare with us as there will be teething problems I’m sure which will mainly be us getting used to things but feel free and put in those orders!!!

Spring on a plate
Asparagus season has finally arrived. After a long winter these vibrant green spears bring some welcome spring freshness to our kitchens right now.
To celebrate the season, we are pairing them with a simple, velvety Hollandaise. Since a great Hollandaise is all about the butter, using a quality one makes every bite better. We love using our salted cultured butter from —the subtle tang and rich finish bring the whole dish together beautifully.
It is super tasty, looks beautiful and a brilliant way to enjoy the asparagus season.
Save this recipe for your next weekend brunch.

The Recipe
What you will need
* The Asparagus: 1 bunch of fresh seasonal asparagus, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
* The Hollandaise: 100g Salted Cultured Butter, 2 egg yolks, 1 tbsp white wine vinegar, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

How to make it
1. Roast the Asparagus: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and spread the stalks out on a baking tray. Drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast for 10 to 12 minutes until tender.
2. Melt the Butter: Gently melt the butter in a small pan. When it foams, remove from heat. Let it rest for a minute so the clear golden butter rises to the top and the milk solids sink.
3. Whisk the Eggs: Place yolks and vinegar in a bowl over a pot of simmering water. Whisk gently until lukewarm and slightly thickened. Keep the heat low.
4. Combine: Very slowly, pour the clear golden butter into the eggs in a thin stream, whisking constantly. Stop before you reach the white solids at the bottom.
5. The Final Touch: Stir in lemon juice and extra seasoning. Pour over the warm roasted asparagus and serve immediately.
