A new experience for Bob yesterday.
We are delighted to play host to a colony from TheSIX Honey Co at BobCat Alpacas
Their owner, Stephen, said that they were happy and chilled. I like to think that the chilled atmosphere provided by our alpacas is an influence
Yesterday, Bob had the opportunity to get suited up and see what goes on inside the hive. It was absolutely fascinating

Delighted with our results at the NWAG Championships at Carlisle on Saturday.
BobCat Aspen was 1st in junior light female, and then was awarded Light Female Champion
1st places also for:
BobCat Versace - adult male brown
BobCat Faberge - adult male fawn
BobCat Sonny Surprise - adult male light
BobCat Louis Vouton - adult male white

2nd places for:
BobCat Adelaide - intermediate female brown
BobCat Florence - intermediate female light

And 6th places for:
BobCat Austin - junior male Fawn
BobCat Abeline - junior female light

Sheep Worrying

Unfortunately we have seen an increase in sheep worrying incidents this month. It is tupping season in the farmer calendar just now, with ewes being in early stages of pregnancy. Any stress can cause the ewes to abort their pregnancies. This has a big financial impact on the farmer as well as distressing to the ewes.

Please keep your dogs close to heel or on a lead. Sheep are all over the Pentland Hills, on the open moorlands as well in enclosures.
