Curried parsnip is one of our favourites 😋 🥄

This recipe from James Martin is exceptional! The vegetable crisps on top add not just a visual impact to the soup but they are also an alternative to croutons 👌🏻

So let just talk all things cauliflower for second ✋🌿

Some may see the humble cauliflower as the boring cousin of broccoli, 🥦 but we think that’s very unfair❗️

This veggie deserves way more love, it’s packed with vitamins, low in carbs, and can transform into anything: creamy mash, beautiful cauliflower cheese, rice, even pizza crust! 🍕✨

Next time you’re planning dinner, give cauliflower the spotlight, it’s one of the most versatile, underrated heroes in the veggie world. 💪🌸

With autumn clearly on the march, it means one thing, the beginning of the soup season 🥣 😋

Ahead of our Sunday lunch, we whipped up a quick Leek and Potato Soup! We had a few unsold leeks, that were past their best, but still useable. We don’t like wasting things.

Recipe below 👇

Ingredients
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
225g/8oz potatoes, cubed
2 medium leeks, sliced
1.2 litres/2 pints vegetable stock
150ml/5fl oz double cream or crème fraîche
salt and freshly ground black pepper

There’s something magical about cooking with fresh, seasonal produce, the colors are brighter, the flavors are richer, and the nutrients are at their peak. 🥕🍅

Tonight we had chicken cutlets with a roasted tomato linguine. The plum tomatoes used were from our own garden. 😋👍
