🐄🍦FARM & GELATO UPDATE 🍦🐄
As many of you will know, we are going through some big changes behind the scenes here at Brooklands.
Last year we made the hard but necessary decision to sell the main farm behind the gelato shop. We have kept some land and will continue farming, milking our lovely cows and making our artisan gelato – just from the opposite side of the road.
As we warmly welcome the new owners to Brooklands, we (and the cows!) will soon be moving into facilities at Deefields Farm. The cows will move first, with the gelato following later on.
We, along with a huge team of people – to whom we are eternally grateful – are working around the clock to prepare the new facilities. The shed is nearly ready, and we are installing the latest robotic technology to milk the cows. We’re excited to share more about this with you over the next few weeks.
We have farmed the land at Deefields for many years and are proud that it will remain organic – just like our milk.
There will be no change to the gelato this season. We’ll be at the usual place until September while we prepare our new gelataria. We’ll still be using our own organic milk as normal and have lots of exciting flavours planned for the season.
We would like to thank everyone for their support, hard work and kindness through what has been a very stressful time. We’re now looking forward to this next chapter.
