Just wanted to do a little post to say how nice it is for some colours other than black to have been winning recently. I was over the moon for my cuckoo hen 🐓 to take best large at the national a few weeks ago and my bantam buff have been doing very well of late. 🧡

Then my good friend James Pearcy winning show champion with a blue at the welsh fedation at the weekend, not an easy feat. 💙

Lets get the colours out there 🌈

Lets talk Jubilee! by far the most popular colour this year, with my waiting list for pullets going to next autumn, but what makes a good Jubilee? pattern! I see alot of Jubilee that dont have anywhere near the correct markings that makes them a true representation.
A deep mahogany base with each feather ending in a black, then white tip, even over the whole body 🤎🖤🤍 dont get me wrong this isnt easy! but gives for the most beautiful striking bird 😍

For context this young pullet is very partially sighted and just decided jumping on the dogs back was the best life decision. Love this dog ❤️
