Will have our usual supply of eggs at Auchnagatt Farmers Market tomorrow, as well as a selection of tomato plants - we grew too many to fit in our tunnel!

Merrygold and Sweet Million are cherry types and the San Marzano are a large Italian cooking variety, great for sauces.

All three varieties did very well for us last year. See you all tomorrow!

Four hens looking for new coops! All are 7 weeks old and off heat/ready to live outdoors.

1 x Black Copper Marans - generally lay a good amount of dark brown eggs
3 x White Leghorn crosses - generally lay a large number of large white/cream eggs.

The three WLs must go together, the one BCM can go separately.

We are just outside of Ellon, Aberdeenshire. Message if interested :)

The Shallowplough slug control team in action!

We will have limited boxes of duck eggs for sale at Auchnagatt Farmers Market next weekend. Duck eggs are bigger/richer that chicken eggs and are excellent for baking.

Happy Mother's Day 💓

Our chicken mum is doing a great job looking after her chick, which is now just over 3 weeks old.

We also had a group of chicks hatch out of our incubator today, and they are all cheeping away happily :)
