Warning: The alpacas may appear smaller than they did yesterday! 😂

No alpacas have actually shrunk—we've just removed several kilograms of fleece. It's always a surprise to see what's been hiding underneath all that fluff.

The calm before the clippers! 🦙✂️

Tonight, the herd is blissfully unaware that tomorrow is shearing day. By this time tomorrow, there will be a lot less fluff and a lot more alpaca on show!

Wishing our shearers—and the alpacas—good luck for an exciting day ahead.

From tiny cria to curious weanling! 🦙

It feels like only yesterday these youngsters were following closely behind their mums. Now they're growing into confident young alpacas and enjoying life with their friends in the paddock.

We're looking forward to seeing them after their upcoming shearing!

Here's Alice with her daughter, Dora, from last year. It's lovely to look back on these special moments.

No alpaca trekking here—but all of our alpacas are halter trained! These wonderful guests helped a couple of our boys brush up on their halter skills, and everyone had a great time.

While we don't offer alpaca trekking, regular halter training helps keep our alpacas confident, comfortable, and happy meeting visitors during their alpaca experiences.
