Thank you to everyone who visited the stall, supported Turmeric & Tales, and shared a little piece of this journey with me. My heart is full. 🌱✨

A lovely highlight of the event was welcoming the Mayor of Ely to the Turmeric & Tales stall. (She stopped by and ordered our best-selling Samosas and Spring Rolls. In the excitement of serving and chatting, I completely forgot to take a photo! 📸🙈.)

What a day! 🌧️✨
Littleport Leisure Centre

The weather wasn't at its best, but thankfully it wasn't the worst either and we had an amazing first event experience with Turmeric and Tales!

The biggest highlight was seeing people come back to tell us how much they enjoyed the food, especially our snacks. Hearing all the "wow" and "yum" reactions while people were eating made all the hard work worthwhile. ❤️

And of course, the best compliment of all was watching the aroma of freshly cooked food draw people straight to our stall!

It wasn't the fanciest setup, and there are definitely things we'll improve for next time, but we're incredibly proud of how our very first stall went.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, shared kind words, and enjoyed our food. 🙏

Back home in Delhi, whenever the rain starts falling, everyone rushes to the kitchen to make hot pakodas. The streets fill with people standing under umbrellas, waiting for fresh samosas, crispy tikkis, and warm snacks to brighten a rainy day.

Today is giving me exactly the same feeling! 🌧️☔

The weather may be a little challenging, but it's definitely not going to stop us. We're all set up and ready to serve freshly made samosas, spring rolls, pakodas, and other homemade treats from Turmeric & Tales.
