In September, we had the honour to be invited by Fishing TV to join them on The Kennet and talk on camera to Valentine Warner about All Angels for another episode of The Trip. An amazing day with a superb lunch prepared by Valentine and a wonderful demonstration of preparing sushi from local trout caught by Masaki Sugisaki - his speed and dexterity would scare us off playing cards! All paired with All Angels No. 36, Classic Cuvée 2019 and Sparkling Rosé 2018. Huge thanks also to Jamie from Wilde Trout!

What a weekend ! 🥂🍇

Two days, plenty of familiar faces, lots of lovely new ones and, safe to say, a little bit of everything weather-wise! Saturday may have been on the damp side ☔️, but it certainly didn’t keep the crowds away, and by Sunday the sun had well and truly made an appearance. ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a taste or to take a few bottles home. It was so lovely catching up with long-time All Angels customers and introducing our w**es to so many of you for the first time.

Special thanks to our brilliant neighbours and to who made a guest appearance behind the stand on Saturday and jumped straight in when things got busy! We owe you one. 🥂

Oz Clarke and Tom Surgey review No.36 in their Summer Sipping Series — and we could happily listen to them talk about it all day.

Described by us as our ‘everyday’ w**e, they’re quick to point out that there’s rather more to No.36 than that.

Six years resting on its lees gives it those beautiful creamy, biscuity, brioche and toasted notes, while its gentler sparkle creates what Tom describes as an “amazing foamy, rich viscosity.”

Joyful. Generous. Delicious. And currently Tom’s favourite of the All Angels range. We’ll certainly take that.

Perhaps there’s more to our ‘everyday’ bottle than meets the eye.

Has anyone else felt it? That first little hint of autumn in the air… 🍂

The evenings are getting cooler, the dogs are looking increasingly cuddle-worthy and suddenly the thought of lighting the fire feels very appealing.

Add a bottle of No.36 to the equation and we’d say you’ve got the makings of a rather lovely evening.

Some bottles are made for celebrating. Some are made for staying in. This one does both rather well. 🥂

What a difference a few years makes… 🍇

In 2017, we harvested our chardonnay on the 4th November.

This year we started on the 2nd September.

More than two months earlier.

On Wednesday, the first grapes of our 2026 vintage were picked here at All Angels, marking the start of this year’s harvest.

A striking reminder of just how much our growing seasons can change — and why no two vintages are ever quite the same.

Harvest 2026 is officially underway. 🍇

We’re heading back to the Newbury Show! 🥂🍇

And this year, we’ll be bringing along the latest additions to the All Angels family…

If you haven’t had a chance to try our newest releases yet, come and find us for a taste, a chat and a glass (or two) of English Sparkling W**e.

We loved being part of the show last year and can’t wait to be back on home turf, pouring for familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones too.

So, is 2026 going to be a good year for grapes? 🍇

All signs are pointing to quality over quantity.

The high levels of sunshine and solar radiation we’ve seen this year are leading to quicker ripening. The grapes may be smaller and yields potentially lower, but that smaller fruit can bring beautifully concentrated flavours.

Less in the bunch, perhaps. More in the grape. And the potential for quality? Off the charts.

There’s still a little way to go before harvest, and as ever, nature gets the final say — but we’re very excited to see what this vintage becomes. 🥂
