Ducklings looking to find a new residence.

Beautiful unsexed ducklings. Hatched on Thursday 9th April. Not the easiest to photograph! Will be off heat in the next few days. Parents shown in first sets of pictures.
Three for twenty or ten for singles.

We also sell duck eggs. Delicious and a super food, they are three pounds for six.

Lovely weather the last few days. Great to see the animals enjoying it too. The pigs eating breakfast as the hoggets graze, hoping for some new shoots of grass. Fingers crossed, soon.

We currently have six pet lambs:
Saturn and Jupiter our pedigree Suffolk rams.
Venus and Lunar our Dutch spotted x Suffolk and two all sorts named Callisto and Mars.
It has its moments but overall it's good fun. They are drinking their milk well and exploring. We tried adopting a couple but the ewe would feed them but then wander off! So we are all helping to raise them.

The weather (as always in Fermanagh) is changeable to say the least. One minute pouring with rain and the next suggesting an early spring. Either way, we try to get the animals out for fresh air and a bit of grass.

The lambs are looking well. You can see three Jacob lambs, Detling, Dunkirk and Dungeness with their mums and introducing Mercury, our fostered lamb. We are naming our non-purebred lambs this year after planets.
Mercury is a Suffolk ram lamb and he looks great already.

One of our ewes has just given birth (2230hrs) but unfortunately the lamb hasn't made it. Looking for a lamb to put on her asap. Fermanagh area.
Many thanks.

Introducing Detling, our ewe lamb who was born on Sunday. She is doing great, her mum, Sinead, is a fantastic and patient mum.
Note the smiley face on her side, hopefully that bodes well.

Our first lamb of 2026 was born today. We checked on her at 1430 and she looked like she was ready. By 1453 she had delivered a lovely ewe lamb unassisted. We let her bond with her lamb and then moved her to her own pen so she could get some peace.
There was a sweet moment as the lamb comes out when our eldest ewe came over to inspect before eating. Please ignore the banging in the videos, it's the other expectant ewes bashing their horns off the trough!

Another frosty morning and still the Christmas vegetables are going strong and proving popular.
It's this kind of care that means that when we process our animals you can taste that effort. We have plenty of pork, beef and lamb still available.

Let us know if you would like a nice roast or some great cuts for a lovely warming soup. Have a great week everyone.

A lovely frosty morning is spent eating some fresh vegetables. We love to compliment the animals foods when we get the opportunity. It also builds bonds so that we can handle them better when vaccinating them or we need to check them over.
What better way for the year to start.
