Last week, our Procurement Manager Sara and Regional Account Manager, Paul were on the ground in Egypt, visiting our trusted tomato, dehydrated vegetable, and herb suppliers.
These supplier visits are a vital part of how we work. They give us the chance to:
- Strengthen long-term partnerships
- See first-hand where and how ingredients are grown
- Understand processing methods, quality controls, and sustainability practices
- Align on standards that ensure consistency from field to finished product
There’s no substitute for being there in person, building relationships, asking the right questions, and deepening our understanding of the supply chain behind the ingredients our customers rely on.
And, of course… when you’re just outside Cairo, the team managed a quick visit to the pyramids, because supplier visits don’t come with views like that every day.
A great trip, engaging conversations, and partnerships made even stronger.
