Primafruit takes on the Evesham Town 10K!

We’re proud to share that a brilliant team of Primafruit colleagues will be lacing up their running shoes and taking part in this year’s Evesham Town 10K on Sunday 5th July.

They’ll be running in support of PAL Fitness Education, a fantastic Evesham-based charity doing important work in the local community.

This is a great example of our new Primafruit value Show Up — supporting each other, getting involved, and making a positive difference beyond the workplace.

And that's a wrap. Over the past week we brought our people together for our annual business briefing and the official introduction of IGNITE — our new business strategy, values and shared way forward.

All 400 members of our team on site were invited to hear from the Primafruit Board, with our Managing Director, Liam McNamara, introducing our new values and bringing to life "The Prima Way".

IGNITE is about who we are, how we work, and how we continue to grow together — especially as we begin an exciting new chapter through our new 10-year contract with Waitrose.

Our values will guide us every day:

The day was also a chance to celebrate our people. The Hungry Plaice Food vans were on site serving loaded fries and jacket potatoes, and every colleague left with an IGNITE-branded bag, notebook and water bottle as a reminder of the journey we are all part of.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped bring the day to life. IGNITE is more than a strategy — it is a commitment to our people, our customers, our growers and our future.

This Wednesday was all about Wearing it Green for Mental Health Awareness Week💚

Our Wellbeing Coordinator, Emma, also spent a day volunteering with Evesham and District Mental Health Support Services (EDMHSS), supporting the fantastic work they do in our local community.
