From the farm to the table 🥩

We stopped at Greendale kitchen for dinner with the Greendale Tomahawk Sharer already in mind. Greendale steak served with seasonal vegetable, potatoes and blue cheese sauce, more than enough for two.

Afterwards, we had a wander around the farm shop, with so much to see.

We love visiting Greendale. Good food, local produce and a real food connection 🍴

We’ve had The Yacht on our list for a while now and a special occasion gave us the perfect reason to finally visit!

From locally sourced, seasonal dishes to Torquay’s only working distillery, visible from the Gin Lounge, there was plenty to enjoy alongside the food.

Add in the views across the marina and it made for a fantastic evening 🌅🍸

We recently spent the evening at a Cars and Cuppas, After Hours event at Greendale. As food and car enthusiasts, it was a perfect way to spend our Friday evening!

Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the food. We went for the Greendale Burger and Proper Jumbo Hot Dog. Both were delicious, and the hot dog, made using meat from Greendale’s butchers, was a real highlight 🍔

We believe great food isn’t just about how it tastes but also knowing where it comes from and the story behind it.

If you’re nearby, we’d definitely recommend a visit - whether that’s for the food, the farm shop or the next After Hours event at Greendale!

A weekend breakfast trip to Darts Farm reminded us exactly why we started SCOFFL.

From the farm shop to the table at the yard restaurant, you can see the connection between local producers and great food. Darts farm believes in seasonal, sustainable food and drink, making the most of incredible local ingredients.

The breakfast was excellent, generous portions, friendly staff, and great value for the quality of food on offer.

Places like this prove that knowing where your food comes from makes the experience even better. It’s exactly the kind of story we want to help more people discover through SCOFFL.

If you’re in Devon and haven’t visited yet, we’d highly recommend it ☕️ 🍳
