The annual Big Pick Weekend at Courtneys of Whimple has you covered! 😉

We are super excited to be catering for the weekend (which is part of the Taste East Devon festival) on the 19th and 20th of September 2026 and we have of course made sure that we've gone *BIG* 🔥🔥

Looking for a great day out with family and friends? Join us for a weekend of apple harvesting, live music, great food, cider, and countryside vibes as we open the Courtneys of Whimple ancient orchard for 'The Big Pick & Cider Fest 2026'. Part of the fantastic Taste East Devon festival.

The Big Pick & Cider Fest..... the Courtneys of Whimple ancient cider orchard opens its gates to all on 19th / 20th September. Part of the Taste East Devon Festival.

Join us for a day (or two) of serious fun in the countryside. Press apples from the orchard to take home and learn all things 'Apple Juice' and 'Cider' from a working cider farm.

Live music on both days - line up being finalised, currently signed up Vine & Dandy, Joy Machine & Better Luck Next Time (UK).

Incredible 🍕 provided by our friends at ember pizza 😋. Licensed bar and a few surprises too.
