Join us Saturday 24th October for a herbal walk on the farm with Laura Evans, a qualified medicinal herbalist from Higher Nurture.

Laura’s seasonal herbal walks around the farm are always a sell out event. She offers a gentle stroll in the countryside offering advice and practical identification methods to floral that can help improve your health.

Laura will have a pop up shop at the end of the walk so you can take home some of her remedies. She will also give advice on how you can make them yourself, her knowledge is endless and always fantastic value for money.

We have lots on offer, suited most for families with young children - however EVERYONE is welcome ✨

Tractor trailer tours to meet the highland cows, highland cow grooming, apple pressing, children’s activities, storytelling around the fire, morris dancers (from 1pm), prebook a 1:1 reading in the healing hut & AMAZING food / drink 💚

This is different to our usual posts, but an importnant one! I’m very fortunate to have good mental health, I’ve always been self aware and know when I’m over stimulated or heading for burnout 🌞
However recently, the balance has been off. My screen time since children has massively increased because my role on the farm became more admin based around the children’s childcare hours. Self employed life consumed my evenings, family time & clarity of mind. I was working until midnight doing emails (I still have over 400 unread), feeling the constant need to check in on my phone and be contactable because the business might fail if I didn’t .

So, I brought Brick (this isn’t an AD) - and honestly, it’s changed my life. This little device sticks to our fridge and I have to tap my phone onto it if I wish to unlock certain apps. So, naturally when I’m lied in bed at 8pm I will not have the energy to go to my fridge and un brick - which means my phone gets turned off and I enjoy my books.
Certain apps on my phone are Brick a lot nowadays so my working hours are focused and concentrated. I love people, so please contact me the old fashion way - call me -💚

(I still do scheduled posts every Monday for the week ahead)
