I am looking for wholesale customers for our melons, grown outside on our farm in Broadclyst, this is an Alvaro cantaloupe melon. Minimum of 8 melons per purchase. £1.50 each. I will deliver within a 5 mile radius

Hooray, some are ready, these melons have been on TV twice now so they are very famous. They are a juicy cantaloupe melon called alvaro. They are £2.50 each and will be for sale tomorrow at the farm and the farmshop at branches cafe. Get them while you can :)

With blue tongue rife in Devon it was only a matter of time it would catch up with us. Most of our flock was vaccinated last year but some slipped the net, it is mostly those who are suffering but we have had a vaccinated ewe with suspected Blue Tongue. The vet came today to take blood samples. Those who we suspect have it have received antibiotics, anti inflammatory and a couple who had blood tests with steroid. 3 ewes dead and 1 lamb so far, fingers crossed it won’t be many more !
