Bank holiday weekend starts here!!

We have a counter full to bursting so if you don’t see what you want then please ask as we don’t have enough room for all species.

All the usual deli bits,
Ready to eat bits and genuinely so much more!!

The freezer is topped up with ready meals!

Too late now for any orders I’m afraid but we have plenty to see us through the weekend…. 🤞 hopefully!!

With an algae bloom we have limited mussels today, but back to normal the bank holiday weekend.

As always lots of beautiful crabmeat and Cornish king crab claws, beautiful Exmouth lobsters straight out the pan also.

With a bank holiday weekend coming up that brings with it one less fish market, so as always we advise try and plan ahead, maybe pre order some things or come see us and we can go through it with you and decide wether you need to order or not.

As I lay in bed last night I received that text no one wants to get while sat with their partner.

“Mate, we’ve got Crabs”

Luckily for us it just means Gerald has been out and checked his pots!! Fighting off hordes of octopus he braved the elements and steamed his way back to shore! But next came the gruelling 1min walk from his mooring to our shop, how he manages to pull that box such a huuuuuge distance I don’t know!

Freshly cooked local Exmouth crabs back in for this weekend. From shore to door in 30steps, can’t get better than that!

This weekend , we have Local Bluefin Tuna available , Sushi,Sashimi,Tartare or flash fried this is truly a treat so pop down and try some before it goes 😍🐟😍🐟

Oh look at that beaut 😎

Our first Line Caught British Bluefin Tuna of 2026 is here! 🎣

Weighing a whopping 113kg, this impressive fish was sold through our auction this morning.

Licensed commercial vessels are permitted to catch and land Line Caught Bluefin Tuna in accordance with the UK’s annual quota and regulations.

We look forward to seeing what the rest of the season brings at Brixham Fish Market 🌍🐟

Mussels are back 🎊these tasty treats are getting nice and plump 😋 plenty of lovely fish in and even some cooked crabs , be quick though just a handful in.
