On Sunday 20th September, 95 colleagues from our Watton, Eye, Crown Farms and Milling sites came together, along with many others to support them, to take part in the Only The Brave Charity Mud Run in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
Participants tackled either a 3, 6 or 10-mile course, taking on a challenging mix of trail running, mud, water and demanding obstacles along the way. Despite the tough conditions, the team showed incredible determination, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the event.
There was some healthy competition between the sites with fundraising and after months of preparation, our teams have raised an outstanding total (so far!) of £12,129 for this fantastic cause.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a charity-funded emergency service that provides advanced critical care at the scene of life-threatening incidents and rapid transportation to specialist hospitals. Operating across Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, EAAA also supports communities through aftercare services, lifesaving training and clinical research. Because the charity relies heavily on public donations, every pound raised helps them continue delivering vital, lifesaving care when it is needed most.
