🩷🏰 CHARITY BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH 2026 🏰🩷
Another year, another Triple B charity brunch and somehow I’m sat here looking at the final numbers and thinking… WHAT?! £5,035.51 raised yesterday!!! 😭🥂
Which means that over the last 4 years, these brunches have raised an absolutely incredible £20,112.05!!! 💗 I genuinely cannot believe I can say that. Little old me and my famous sozzy rolls! What started as a one-off event has somehow turned into something that means so much to me and so many other people.
This year was extra special as we supported Little Lady Locks, a charity that does such amazing work. They provide wigs and hair systems completely free of charge to children and young people living with cancer, and after hearing from Ashley, the founder, I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. Her speech was so incredibly touching and you could genuinely feel the love in that room. 🥹🩷 It really brought home exactly why we were all there.
I set myself another little target this year and, once again, YOU lot absolutely smashed it. Every ticket bought, every raffle prize donated, every bottle of Prosecco, every like, share and kind message… it all adds up. And yesterday we did it TOGETHER. 🫶
A massive, massive thank you to my amazing Triple B team; Alun, Mum & Aunty Pottsey 💗 You three are my angels sent from event planning heaven and I genuinely couldn't do these events without you. Alun, for your excellent pouring skills (blame your sore heads on him 😂) and for keeping me grounded when I inevitably start stressing. Mum, for making every single one of my ridiculous ideas come to life and being the operational AND attic QUEEN! Pottsey, for being my sous chef, perfectionist and fellow stress-head 😂. I end up taking a lot of the credit because my name is on the business, but these events are just as much your achievement as they are mine. I love you all the numbers ❤️
But of course, it takes a whole army to pull one of these off…
To my amazing wife for once again being in the kitchen with me and smashing the food prep. Nan, Gemma, Demi, Tilly & Aunty Linz, the decorating squad 👏 Gabby, the Prosecco bottle opening QUEEN. Sarah, Aunty Janet, Candice, Lucy & Che, for helping set up the food stands despite cheesecake gate!! Colliers, for once again generously buying ALL the food 🙌
And a HUGE special shoutout to Becky for the most AMAZING balloon display I've ever laid my eyes on 😭🎈 Not only did she donate her time, but she donated her supplies too and completely transformed the room. It looked absolutely incredible and I’m so, so grateful for everything you did. 🩷
I'm sure there are a million more thank-yous I could make and I'm so sorry if I've missed anyone. Every single person who donated, helped, shared, bought a ticket, donated a raffle prize or simply turned up yesterday THANK YOU. You are all a huge part of this.
And of course, a special thank you to for letting me take over your venue once again 😂 and to Zoe and the team for being so accommodating and looking after us throughout the night.
For everyone who was there yesterday, you'll know exactly what I mean when I say there is something so special about that room. Every year I stand there and look around and I'm completely blown away by the amount of love and support in one place. I know how lovely each of you are when buying a ticket, but the way everyone just gets along and the feedback I receive every year that strangers became friends at my events just proves how special you all are. I feel so lucky I get to call you all friends. Yesterday was no different. 🥹
I'm not normally one to blow my own trumpet (in fact, I never do 😂) but if I can't sit back for a minute and be bloody proud of myself for raising £5,035.51 yesterday, then when the hell can I?! 😭💗 Listening to Ashley's speech and hearing the impact that £5,035.51 could have, knowing that it could positively affect at least 10 families, really puts that number into perspective. Literally sat here crying. WE DID THAT.
And Dad… I know this is a charity you would have absolutely loved me supporting. I hope somewhere up there you're looking down, proud as punch, probably wondering how the hell I've managed to turn a bottomless brunch into all of this. 😂
I honestly don't know what the future holds for Triple B charity brunches. With Australia potentially on the horizon for us next year, 2027 might look a little different… but whatever happens, I will always be incredibly proud of what these events have achieved and the amazing people who have made them possible.
So for now… THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart. 🩷
£20,112.05. FOUR YEARS. FOUR BRUNCHES. And a whole lot of Prosecco. 🥂😭
Triple B, you bloody did it again. One day you'll give yourself the credit you bloody deserve, girl. 🥹💚🩷
