Anouther fab open day 🩵 thank you all who came even though the weather was against us! Our first ever wet open day and we couldn’t be more surprised to see everyone still turned up! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. The community we have built around this little farm is amazing, everyone was smiling and dancing and just having an all round fab time even though the heavens had opened!

Reach out caring open day would not be an open day without our incredible staff team, and the people who turn up every year just to help. Your all appreciated so much.

Thank you to the Steam Town Shanty Crew for keeping us entertained, our guys absolutely love you!

Thank you Dave and his crew for bringing three awesome fire engines.

Thank you to all my wonderful bakers who have spent all week baking like crazy for the cake stand.

Thank you to Carolyn Gregory Smith for getting together the most amazing raffle prizes we have ever had!

Thank you Mandy Owens and Andrea Benson and others they roped in to help for doing the raffle stand.

Thank you to Neil and Jack for standing in the rain parking everyone all day.

Thank you Ian, jane, Luke, Sean and Lucy for running the barbecue to keep everyone fed.

And lastly, thank you to the guys who attend Reach out caring, who spent the last week making the farm and animals look extra beautiful for our big day.

We love you all and look forward to seeing you all next year on a hopefully a sunny open day 🩵

I know the weather isn’t the best… even though I booked it…. But open day is still happening, we will still be here! We have plenty of under cover spaces, and if you don’t want to park in the field, the parish council offices up the road have kindly left their car park open.

I hope to still see you all today 🤞🏻

Preparation for open day is well and truly happening at Reach Out caring, the gates and fences are painted, the buildings have been scrubbed, burgers are being made, and everything is go go go!

However it wouldn’t be reach out if we didn’t have a bit of fun with all that work, last week four different groups enjoyed trips to a Thorpe park 🩵 everyone had such a fab time and where so brave

The most amazing thing happened at the weekend, these little ones hatched!!

After loosing our beloved lucky to the the fox, we all had a massive goose shape hole in our hearts, but now with the arrival of these little beauties, the farm feels complete again 🩵

I can’t wait for the guys to meet them this week, be prepared for baby goose spam 🪿

Beautiful news yesterday morning when we first went down into the barn, our guinea pig ivy had her baby’s!

What should we name them!? We have two boys and two girls 🩵
