🐑 SOLD OUT FOR ANOTHER YEAR 🐑

Thanks to you lovely lot, our lamb order book is now closed as every lamb is now reserved 🤩

Farming is tough at the moment, the drought is causing a lot of worry and financial stress, add in the extra worry of bluetongue and its hard going. The support we’ve received for our meat boxes this year has been fantastic and really helped us to look forward.

We will have 1 more beef weekend this year, probably in December, just in time for a certain time of year… 🎅🏼 We’re already taking orders and we anticipate this beef weekend to sell out very quickly so if you’d like your name on a 15kg mixed box or individual cuts please message us.

We’re approaching breeding season for the sheep and the good news is we’re increasing the flock size this year, so more lambs next year hopefully 🤞🏻 next years beef cattle are growing out in the field too and there’s more of them as well 🥳

A few pics of the stock in the last week or so. As you can see it’s pretty dry out there and we desperately need rain 🔥☄️ pictures show our ewe lambs that were keeping for breeding, cattle enjoying the sun, and our shearling ewes who will enter the flock this autumn enjoying their breakfast ☺️

🥩 2026 LAMB BOXES 🥩

Unlike our beef, our lamb is very seasonal and only available from June to September each year.

Our lamb is born here on the farm during February and March, reared by our fair hands, killed at an abattoir 5 miles away, and then hung for a week to develop the most wonderful flavour and texture 👌🏻

We have a handful of lambs left from this year but they are selling very quickly indeed, so if you’d like a half lamb box, please give us a WhatsApp or slide into our dm’s now 😄

Half a lamb gives you:
🥩1 leg, either left whole, cut into 2 roasting joints, or cut into leg steaks which are super popular for the bbq 🔥
🥩1 shoulder- left whole or cut into 2 joints
🥩A selection of Barnsley and chump chops
🥩1 neck fillet (see recipe below for how to cook that to perfection)
🥩 A Breast that can either be b***d and rolled or minced.

£150 for half a lamb, which should last you into the roast dinner months, unless you eat it in a month like some of our customers have! 😆

We have some availability for lambs returning from the butcher on 18th August but these lambs need to be booked in the next couple of days so we can get the cutting instructions to our butcher.

If you’ve had lamb from us, or your name is on the list for this summer, you may wonder how to cook the neck fillet that’s included in your box.

This is one of our favourite recipes and neck fillet goes perfectly with it (along with a good bottle of red 🍷)

📣🥩😁 WE SOLD OUT!! 😁🥩📣

What a fab weekend we’ve had meeting everyone who’s collected beef from the farm. It was really nice to have a mix of both new and returning customers all with one thing in common, wanting to bypass the supermarkets and know exactly where their meat comes from.

Our next beef weekend will likely be in December but in the meantime we’ve still got a few lambs unspoken for, which will be ready in August and September. Ping us a message if you’d like more information.

📣 Beef available this weekend from our farm at Argal, Falmouth 📣 BE QUICK AS SELLING VERY FAST!

🥩 Fully traceable, born and reared on our farm, little trip to the abattoir 5 miles away. Hung for 3 weeks and here we are, selling the last few bits.

It’s mostly all gone thanks to the wonderful pre-orders that have come in the past few weeks, but we have some mince, chuck steak, braising steak and a handful of smaller topside joints left to sell this weekend.

Field to fork in just over a week 🌱🍽️

Our first lambs left the farm last week and returned today, 8 days later, ready to go out to our lovely customers. It was nice to see some returning faces today and some new ones, so thank you to all who collected their lamb today.

We’re incredibly proud of the food we produce; being able to take our livestock from birth right through to being ready to go on your plate is a privilege. Our fabulous butcher hangs our lamb for a week, something which the supermarkets won’t ever do, so it’s had time to rest and mature.

We have a few half lamb boxes available for this summer still- the next batch are due back on 14th July. £150/half a lamb.

Our next beef animal leaves the farm tomorrow; there will be individual cuts available on 17/18/19th July (that’s going to be a hectic week, as we’re also at Stithians show on the Monday 🤣)- message us for more information or to reserve.

Pre booking for our beef and lamb is essential! We only send our animals off if we know we can sell all of the meat- ensuring nothing is wasted. We don’t sell any meat frozen, it is all sold fresh, so pre booking is appreciated as it also gives us an idea of demand (and means Rachael can buy more sheep! 😉)
