These days when people think of korma they imagine a sweet, bland bowl of stodge but this wasn't always the case. This chicken tikka shahi korma has it's roots in 16th century India; a celebration dish for the Mughlai nobility it was even served at the inauguration of the Taj Mahal! A trip back to the Shire is always nice especially when I'm able to nip into the awesome for a beer or two. I took the opportunity to pick up a few cans of this beaut, one of the best impy stouts out there in my opinion 🥰

If you are ever in the Wimborne, Dorsrt area in a Friday afternoon/eve you should seriously consider checking out the taproom, great beer and banging food provided by .peaches 😁

HCAYK Jr had her first parade as a brownie down here and absolutely loved it. The rain stayed away until early afternoon but then came in with a vengeance so I decided to knock up something rich and spicy to help us recover.

Tender pieces of smoky chicken tikka heated in a makhani sauce with a sprinkling of chopped cashew & sliced green chilli for the win. The result was layer upon layer of luscious flavours, plenty of smiles and empty plates all round.... 🥰xx

I'm not a usually a fan of posting photos of food that I've night rather than cooked myself but the amazing peeps at in Fareham deserve a shout out for providing me with one of the best takeaways I've had in a long, long time!

So tasty and I really didn't want it to end. Add a coffee stout or 2 and it's a great way to end a busy week!🥰
