🐴 That’s a wrap on Wales & West 2026 🐴
I set myself the goal of completing the 1.10m Derby this year when I watched it last year.. not sure whether we would try or not 🙈 bestest pony started strong with a 1m Derby win on Friday so on Saturday we gave the 1.10m a go - she was incredible! Just misjudged fence 3 for a pole but with such a challenging course that was still good enough for 2nd!! 🥳🥳 22 jumping efforts and she flew 🤩 so proud of her!
Hilariously Sunday we had the fence on top of the bank down 🤣 the 2 foot tall one 🙈 which knocked us down to 8th, but she still gives all she has & we had so much fun.

Wonderful ride this afternoon with very nearly the whole yard 🥰 (next time we’ll get the full troop!) and of course we had to stop for ice cream too 😋
I must be the luckiest person around to have these amazing people as friends/clients/fellow explorers 🐎🐎

BS National Championship 2026
Out first year going for anything other than teams and the incredible little mare takes home two national titles!!

🏆 National 95cm Champion

🏆 National 1.10m Team Champion

Honestly it hasn’t sunk it - what a wonder pony she is 🤩 we had to fight hard for both titles but as ever she rose to the challenge and absolutely smashed it! I’m beyond grateful for my partner in crime who without question says yes to all my crazy ideas 🥰 one in a million 🦄

More Italica madness 🚀
This time BS teams where we were incredibly lucky to join a really strong team.. a bit daunting that it was in the 1.10m section 🙈 but I’ve not got many reasons to doubt wonder pony so off we went!
Everyone in the team jumped two super clear rounds - I wasn’t kidding when I said they were a strong team!! Wonder pony flew round the 1.10m first round and the 1.15m second round 🤩 such a clever pony.
We finished 2nd as a team and are off to nationals in a few weeks 🥳

The wonder pony and the incredible team of vets that have kept her happy for the whole time I’ve owned her (8 years) - no small thing given her quirks and the weird situations she’s got herself in to 🙈 (and how needy her owner is 🤣)
