"Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?"… 🔔🎄

Yup you heard it folks, we’re back but will you be joining us?! Our Christmas lights are put up completely by volunteers but between me, you and Santa we’re a bit short on the ground.

Whether you love a bit of Christmas magic or you sigh “bah humbug” in your sleep, we’ve a job that’s got your name written all over it!

No experience necessary, we will buddy you up with one of our experienced volunteers who will show you the ropes!

Pop us a message to find out how you can help us light up the town this Christmas 🎄

**Café Guild has a soundtrack 🎶☕️**

We’ve created our first Spotify playlist - **Café Guild: Daytime**

Listen here - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1iSnPCrRRPnALRSNoAcFc9?si=2380edc4e2904a19

Think coffee, lunch, catch-ups, brighter days and the kind of music we want playing while the café is doing its thing 💚

The best bit? **We want you to help shape it**

We’ll be adding to the playlist all the time, so tell us:

**What’s one song you’d love to hear at Café Guild?**

Leave it in the comments, message us, or tell us next time you’re in.

WE DID IT - TWICE! 🏆🏆

What an incredible day for Café Guild. We’re absolutely delighted to have won Café, Coffee Shop & Tea Room of the Year 2026 - for the second year running! 💚

And to make the day even more special, we were also named Outstanding Service of the Year 2026.

Hazel and the whole Café Guild team are over the moon. These awards mean so much to us and we couldn’t have done it without our wonderful team and all of you who visit, support, recommend and cheer us on.

Two awards. Best Café for two years running. We’re incredibly proud. 💚

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A little pre-show supper at Café Guild 🎶

Last night we welcomed a private supper club of 11 for dinner before they headed off to see The Paul McCartney Tribute Collection. They got by with a little help from Café Guild…

We love hosting evenings like this at Café Guild - whether it’s a celebration, a get-together with friends or supper before a show.

"Small café, big heart" 💚

Well, this was rather lovely to discover…

Café Guild has been awarded Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice 2026, placing us among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide on Tripadvisor. 🌍

We’re also currently Tripadvisor’s #1 Coffee & Tea Spot in Faversham.

But the bit we’re happiest about is why.

Travelers’ Choice is based on the reviews and ratings left by the people who actually come through our doors, so this one belongs to our brilliant team and to all of you who choose to spend a little bit of your day with us.

For coffee, breakfast, lunch, cake, a catch-up, or simply somewhere nice to sit for a while, thank you for coming, coming back, and taking the time to tell other people about us.

Not bad for our little corner of Faversham ❤️

A little lawn, a lot of possibility 🌳💛

For Hop Festival, we turned this little patch of space beside The Royal Cinema into **The Guild Lawn** a pop-up spot for food and drinks, games, good chats and a bit of breathing room in the middle of town.

And honestly? We loved seeing people use it exactly how we’d hoped - sitting, chatting, playing, relaxing and making the space feel alive.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, ate and drank, played a game, made new friends, or simply spent time with us over the weekend.

We’d like this to be just the beginning and we’d love to know:

**What should we add next time?**
More seating? More games? Music? More planting? More community events?

Tell us below 👇
**What could The Guild Lawn become next?**

Huge thank you again to our friends at The Royal Cinema and to read more from our customers, check out our Google reviews🌳💛

BOSSED IT 💪💚

A few of the Café Guild crew after absolutely smashing Hop Festival weekend.

Early starts, hundreds of orders, a very busy kitchen, a packed café - and somehow still smiling at the end of it.

We thought they’d earned a few extra tattoos 😂

Big love to our whole team, we’re so proud of them all. You were incredible 🤍
