Chicza UK Chicza is Mayan Rainforest chewing gum is a 100% natural, biodegradable and certified organic product: in fact, the first organic chewing gum ever made!

Chicza Rainforest Chewing Gum is made by harmlessly extracting chicle (i.e chicozapote latex) from trees to form the natural gum base. Chicle is melted together with natural waxes before it becomes gum base. Still hot, the gum base is mixed with organic sweeteners (among them, the always healthy, low glycemic index agave syrup) and natural flavours, then pressed and shaped into chewing gum strips.

The resulting product is a rare exception in the mostly artificial world of chewing gums. DID YOU KNOW that mass produced chewing gum rarely uses a gum base at all, instead opting for artificial, petrol-based polymers, that is, plastics! Chicza is also 100% biodegradable, it turns to dust and goes back to the soil, just like fallen leaves.
