July and August were hectic to say the least , film crews , sports clubs and weddings galore. The most important thing though is that our clients , couples and their guests were happy and well fed. Lots of laughs with some wonderful people and with only a couple of weddings left this year it’s been an amazing season having both of our amazing kids working with us. As always a huge thank you to all of our clients and huge love and hugs for giving us such great reviews. I still have a blub every time I read one. # catering

There is most definitely points in our days where we sit and wonder why we do what we do. The last 2 weeks have been beyond crazy. We had a wedding on Saturday at amazing venue that comes with its challenges as it has no kitchen onsite but we managed to serve a delicious 3 course meal from a makeshift kitchen. On Sunday we supplied the first of 5 consecutive days of film crew food in Milton Abbas and then Monday we had a wedding at one of our favourite venues The Orangery Suite this was while@also feeding the film crew and our regular holiday food for LYD Sports | Schools, Psychology & Goalkeeping. After working 12 days consecutively and feeling pretty exhausted receiving a review from Emily and Danny makes us remember why we do what we do. To put it plain and simple we love it , had to wipe a few tears away as it really means so much to us. Thank you guys for such a great review , thank you to Becky , Louise and Scott at The Orangery Suite for being wonderful as always , thank you to Weddings By Katie for your help and the biggest thanks to our family who work so hard for us.

Sticking with the hen party theme we were lucky enough in May to cater for Megan and her guests at a venue just down the road at Southwood Farrm where we have been catering since 2019. The guests choose the menu of Tomato bruschetta ( I never say that correctly ) , chicken souvlaki and a very yummy sticky toffee pudding. We count ourselves lucky to be a part of celebrations that mean so much.

We are soooooooo sorry we’ve been on the quiet side lately but the last few weeks have been hectic with hen parties , corporate gigs , photo shoots and weddings. Early in May we were at The new inn farmhouse in sturminster newton for a hen party / murder mystery night. We supplied Amie and her guests with starters of mushrooms on sourdough toast / chicken satay , mains of coq au vin and dessert of sticky toffee with toffee sauce and ice cream. The ladies were so much fun and no we weren’t the murders !!

I know I know that we have been super quiet lately but with Xmas , new year , fractured toes and all us seeming to be under the weather at some point social media has taken a back seat. We’re back and ready for 2026 now though !!! Our first function of the year was our annual Burns night celebration with The Bournemouth Caledonian Society , we have been catering for them since 2019 and it always starts our year off with a bang. Traditional Haggis , neeps and tatties followed by Cranachan or sticky toffee pudding. A haggis blessed with wh**ky , some dancing , bagpipes and lots of smiles.
