On Thursday night we enjoyed an evening at the North Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards in Harrogate. Blake our apprentice was shortlisted as one of the finalists in the intermediate category. Blake attends Bishop Burton College one day a week alongside 4 days in the Butchers Shop. He is showing a real talent and is an outstanding apprentice.

We are pleased to say he was highly commended (runner up spot) which is an amazing achievement in a hotly contested category. Well done Blake you are a massive part of the team.

Hello everyone.
Important shop information.
The shop will be closed from Tuesday10th February and reopen on Tuesday 24th February.

This will be for 1 week maintenance and 1 week for a family holiday. We will have plenty of stock next week if you would like to double up on your order.

Hello, Welcome to Smith Rhodes Family Butchers and Bakers page. Firstly we would like to thank everybody who has supported us in our first year. It really has been amazing. Your support has meant the world to us.

In our second year we will continue to deliver our high standard of products, which are all locally sourced and a great customer service with a sprinkle of fun and laughter.

All our Pies, Scotch Eggs are made and freshly bake daily. Sausages, Homemade Ready Meals, Cooked Meats, Stir Fry, Stuffed Chicken Wraps (various fillings) are prepared on Site. Our fresh cuts of meat are butcherd and trimmed to a very high standard.

We have a fab selection of Chutneys, Pickles, Jams, Curds, Cheeses, Rafi's Spice Box curry mixes, Honey and winter warming meal ideas from our Pureety range.

Stay tuned as any new products, meat packs, evening meal ideas, special offers, seasonal products, competitions and any shop info will be posted here.
