Well........the planes ✈️ have nearly all stopped, cars 🚗 have stopped, the world 🌍 as a whole has pretty much stopped and the Co2 levels have dropped!

Yet the farmers haven’t stopped. 👏They’re still getting up to milk the cows 🐄 , the lambing 🐑 sheds are in full swing, the cattle 🐄 are still being fed, the crops are being drilled, yet the CO2 has dropped.

Maybe agriculture 🚜 isn’t quite as bad as the media have been making out .... maybe the world 🌍 isn’t going to end because of our livestock 🐮🐷🐥🐑🐄 maybe, just maybe, agriculture 🚜 is actually going to be the thing to save everyone when this world 🌍 needs feeding .....we cannot import! ....eat local.eat fresh...🐄🐷🐑 🚜🐮🐷

VOTE
CLAIRE
COLLINS

I, Claire Collins, am excited to be running for the position of Parish Councillor in the 2019 Parish Council Elections in the Finchingfield ward. I am a local daughter, wife, mum of three (and grandmother to dogs!) who has lived on a family run farm in Finchingfield for the last 24 years. I was vice chairman of my children’s school PTA for a number of years. I am a typical and proud farmers wife who loves and can be found; helping the husband on the farm; walking our two black Labradors around Finchingfield; and in the kitchen cooking family meals.

As well as farming, I also enjoy running two holidays lets on the farm which bring in visitors and trade into our beautiful British village.

Over the past 24 years, I have fallen more in love with our wonderful village and I am certainly proud to call it home. I am standing for the position of councillor to give back to a village that gives me so much joy. I believe that I am someone this community can look to for help, guidance and support and think that I am the perfect candidate for the role. I will take the time to have conversations with the community; speak to local groups and businesses; and do my very best to represent the views of you all in the years ahead. I would kindly appreciate your vote on the 2nd May 2019 in Finchingfield Village Hall.

Thank you,
Claire.
