Thanks to recently confirmed National Lottery funding, we are proud to announce the opening of Ford Pawb (“Everyone’s Table”) on Monday 20th July at Fishguard Town Hall.

More details will follow soon, along with video updates about this incredible project, which will bring together affordable and free meals alongside drop-in support sessions from organisations including VC Gallery, Citizens Advice and more.

This has been a long journey to make happen, and we would love your support as we begin this next chapter.

We’ve been busy preparing our growing plots at Parc Cerrig Community Garden - a long term project to grow some of the food that will be used at Ford Pawb, our community kitchen opening later this year.

Surrounded by the landscape, with birdsong all around, it’s hard to imagine a better place to grow!

With many thanks to Red Onion Garden Cafe for the generous donation of mulch and coverings to help us get started. 🌱

We had a wonderful visit to The VC Gallery last week - thank you to Councillor William Shaw, County Councillor for Abergwaun/Fishguard NE for the introduction to Barry John and the team.

Partnerships like this are incredibly important to us as we prepare to open our Community Kitchen later this spring. At its heart, a Community Kitchen is about good food and strong community connections and around that, we’re creating an integrated support hub that can gently help address wider social challenges.

We’re excited to be working alongside The VC Gallery as collaborators as this vision develops.

More to share soon.

🍽️ Our Community Kitchen will be opening soon and we want your input!

It will be a space for learning, sharing, cooking and connecting but we want to make sure it reflects what our community truly needs.

We’ve reopened our online questionnaire and would really value your voice. Please take a few minutes to shape this project with us.

We’re delighted to have been invited by Slow Food Wales Community to the Senedd today for a special celebration of the work they do.

Insightful and inspiring talks from Slow Food Cymru’s Trine Hughes, Andrew Collings, Alison Lea-Wilson and Huw Irranca-Davies MS, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs, highlighted the importance of protecting our food heritage, producers, and local food systems.

Great to meet Slow Food producers Wainwright's Bee Farm, Felin Ganol Watermill and Halen Môn Sea Salt, hear their stories, and taste the passion behind their produce.

We are proud to be part of the conversation and to stand alongside those working to safeguard Wales’ food culture for future generations 🌱

Thank you to Jenny Rathbone MS for hosting the event.
