Today I celebrate my 40th Birthday and I wish to wax lyrical!
I have been so fortunate to have an amazing support network for those 40 years from my family, my friends but also, for the last 8 years, from you all.
I just want to say that I am incredibly proud, lucky and honoured to have been able to spend my years working on dreams and aspirations which have either directly or indirectly allowed me to work on behalf of our global community - by which I mean for Fleet, for our environment, and for our next generations. Teaching, Scoop and Forest Sprites have all given me such an amazing appreciation for the world we live in.
I also want to thank every one of those supporters and show gratitude for every child I have ever encountered for teaching me lessons I didn't know I needed to learn, for customers and people who encourage, correct and humble me regularly and to family and friends for believing in me more than I ever have!
This afternoon will be spent in my favourite woodland with my Forest Sprites - probably being rained on - and enjoying every second!
