After a very busy year, it’s time for the Mother Goose team to hang up the aprons, put our feet up and enjoy a little well-earned break! 🥂☀️

❤️ REOPENING on 22nd October ❤️

We want to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of our wonderful customers who continues to support Mother Goose Catering. Whether you’ve joined us for a meal, booked us for an event, ordered catering or simply recommended us to someone — we appreciate you more than you know! 🥰

❤️ VERY IMPORTANT NEWS FROM MOTHER GOOSE ❤️

Today, we get to share the news we’ve been hoping and praying for.

Our Mother Goose, Diane, is officially CANCER FREE. ❤️

As many of you will know, last year Diane became very unwell and was eventually diagnosed with colon cancer.

What followed was an incredibly difficult journey, including multiple operations, hospital appointments, treatment and recovery.

But throughout everything she was going through, Diane, Ozzy and the team somehow continued to keep Mother Goose Catering in Fochabers going.

Those who know her will know just how much Mother Goose means to her. It isn’t simply a restaurant or a business — it has been built from years of hard work, passion and Diane’s genuine love of cooking for people and bringing them together.

There were incredibly difficult days behind the scenes that many people never saw. Days when simply getting through the day was an achievement, yet she continued to fight.

And today, we received the news we have all been waiting for.

❤️ DIANE IS OFFICIALLY FREE OF CANCER ❤️

It is difficult to put into words what hearing those words means to our family.

After everything Mum has been through, today has genuinely been one of the most special and emotional days of our lives.

We are unbelievably proud of her.

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Diane and Mother Goose throughout the past year — our customers, friends, family, staff and everyone who sent a message, popped in, booked a table or simply asked how she was doing.

Your kindness has meant more than you will ever know. ❤️

So tonight, we’re not celebrating a fully booked restaurant, a new menu or another event.

We’re celebrating Mother Goose herself.

Here’s to Diane, to good health, and to hopefully many, many more years of her doing what she loves. 🥂
