Hello everyone
Unfortunately I've had to make a tough decision and I will be closing Pickies Folkestone as from today.

Of course I'm very upset about it as it's been a bit of a rollercoaster 3 years and each time there was a dip I've been able to turn things around for the better. Unfortunately this time round it has taken everything mentally and financially and I'm unable to continue with the business as it is.

I will still be able to cater occasionally for small gatherings (afternoon teas, party platter boxes etc) and for that reason I'll still remain a registered domestic kitchen.

To all my customers a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your love and support over these last few years and to my family and friends who have given me the encouragement I needed.

Morning All. I've made up some boxes if anyone needs something today. I have the following:

Afternoon Tea for 1 with ham salad and cheese salad sandwiches. Plain scone, clotted cream and jam. 1 lemon drizzle square and 2 brownie bites.

Cream Teas for 1 with plain or fruit scone, clotted cream, jam.

Ploughman's Salad x 3 (2 with blue cheese, 1 just cheddar). They include:
Sausage roll, gammon ham, small green salad, pickled onions, cheddar cheese and blue cheese (I have 1 with just cheddar), sandwich pickle.

I also have 4 smoky bacon quiches £2.50 each. Add a salad for £5.

And I have some mini quiches that didn't turn out as clean as I wanted so reduced to £1.75 each.
2 X salmon & asparagus
2 x caramelised onion and cheddar

Still some scones £2 each and sausage rolls left too.

The Pickies Ploughman's Salad will be available to purchase this Thursday & Friday for the Celebrate the new Spring/Summer menu! event!

So will the sausage rolls and quiches as well as a few new additions to the menu.
