Want softer, fresher bread for longer?

💡 Try adding an ice cube to your oven when baking bread.

Right after putting your dough in the oven, place 2–3 ice cubes in a metal tray on the bottom rack. As they melt, they create steam, which helps the loaf:

✅ Rise higher
✅ Develop a beautiful, glossy crust
✅ Stay softer inside

Professional bakeries often use steam-injection ovens for this exact reason—but this simple trick works surprisingly well at home.
