Some of our Lovely family lined up.

They all desend from foundation cow Barnaigh Lovely Exquiste 3rd. Bought at a reduction sale in Stirling in 2014, we took a punt, she had no calf at foot but was in calf to Glengloy dollar. We knew the breeding and boy are we glad we took the chance!

Our Lovelys are feminine, fleshy and full of proper breed character. Just how we like them!

Meet some of the Beef Shorthorn team. This is our 1st crop of Sandwick Prefer-a-bul calves with some heifers AI'd to Glenisla Excalibur...pleased with them all!

They are back grazing at home which is great for having more time to look at them (ahem distract me from other jobs like paperwork 🙈)

Beef Box Day confirmed! 🥩

This Saturday 15th August between 2pm-4pm

So what do you get?...

✅️A 10kg box of our grass finished Native bred beef. (Beef Shorthorn x Irish Moiled)
✅️ A selection of Roasts, steaks, stewing, mince burgers and sausages. Essentially a 10 kg share of the animal.
✅️All vacuum packed, labelled and freezer ready.

Cost £200 per box

We are incredibly proud to share our beef locally for you and your family to enjoy and we know so many of you do! It means alot to this small farm. 🙏

We will have further batches in September and October so we can add you to our waiting list of that suits better.

Bottle baby update 🍼

Little Yadancer ain't so little!

She is thriving and not on the bottle as such anymore but now drinking her milk from a bucket.

She has half a bag of powdered milk left then it's will be weaning time.

Tilly the dog will miss that part I dare say.
