Dunlouise Aberdeen Angus

Dunlouise Aberdeen Angus The Dunlouise Native Aberdeen Angus herd of Geordie, Julia, Duncan and Louise Soutar Welcome to the Dunlouise Aberdeen Angus Facebook!
(1)

Our traditional Aberdeen Angus have no imported bloodlines. We are working with original British genetics and are currently using bulls which date back at least 50 years; bringing new life to old bloodlines. These line bred cattle maintain the original identity of the Angus breed โ€“ setting the type. This unique herd provides grass finished beef for superior eating quality. The genetic strength of

these line bred cattle, leads to uniformity and efficiency, and is the blueprint of the Native Angus breed - the way forward into the 21st Century. Back to basics with these forage efficient cattle! For more information or to get in contact please see our website:

Summer 2024 we hosted a large delegation from the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth.
We were delighted when they asked for a follow-up of what we have been up to the last 18 months. A good looking pair headlining the article ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

Jipsey Zeus, Julius Eric and Jipsey Adonis are three home-grown chaps who we have been using over the last 12 months. Whilst we still use an extensive AI programme, early maturing Native Angus bulls are handy as sweepers. As is clear by their lack of show prep, these are hard working lads from around 13/14 months.
Who would be your pick? ๐Ÿค”
