EDITED: A huge thank you to Martin for coming to the rescue and clearing the way to the gooseberries 😊 Photos in the comments.

Wondering if one of our local supporters could do us a favour? The gooseberries are almost ripe, but the path to them is rather overgrown!!
If you can help us out, then we will have pick your own gooseberries available.
Please get in touch if you can help - the path goes over this bridge ...

At the weekend, we hosted a Ceilidh, bringing together local food growers, producers, retailers, chefs and everyone working towards a better, more sustainable food culture.
It was a beautiful evening filled with great conversation, delicious food, dancing, sunshine and community spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, to the band for keeping us dancing and to the volunteers who helped make the evening possible. Special thanks go to Debbie, who first brought the idea to life and put so much work into the planning and preparations, as well as co-hosting the event with us.

We look forward to building even closer collaborations and celebrating even more fantastic local food in the future.

Thank you to those who joined us to record what species call the Farm their home over the last few weeks.
This is a list that will be added to in the future, but so far over 325 species have been recorded! The true number will be much higher, but an encouraging start.
I am am working on creating an easy way to share this information and will share that here when I can.
In 30 years this oasis was created from scratch and is still evolving.

Looking forward to welcoming you this morning.
