It can be quite intimidating coming into a refill shop, we get that. But actually its not as bad as you think, like most things in life!

It does take a little longer than grabbing a bag of a supermarket shelf but its a bit more mindful. You only buy what you need and you take a bit more time deciding what you actually need.

Spillages happen but that is just part and partial of a refill shop. We have the equipment to quickly tidy away so you dont need to worry.

Just pop in for a browse and see what we have, we welcome a wee blether too 😉

Wee reminder that there will be no bread or bagels this week. The bakers on holiday 😎

Back to it from the 24th July (it takes a few days to get the starter refreshed then time for the dough to do its thing!). I will try and get bagels on the go on Wednesday 22nd 🥯

Shop is open usual hours this week 9.30am - 4.30pm with plenty to go in lool at 😊

Friday morning is bread & bagel day, and despite the early close we will still have freshly baked goods available from opening at 9.30am

Im afraid no bread or bagels on Saturday, but shop open as normal 9.30am - 1.30pm.

Have a great weekend folks whether at the Forres Highland Games, the Dallas Gala or you are heading west for some Gairloch Gathering fun!

Double apology from me!

Firstly, big apologies to folks who turned up to the shop on Friday morning to find the doors shut. I was away and we had a wee bit of miscommunication within our team that meant no one turned up to open. Diane very kindly picked up the message and headed straight in to open the doors.

Secondly, no milk! The dairy farmer was also away and whilst away had a few technical issues which meant no milk was delivered. I believe all is back working and we should have milk back in on Tuesday.

This week all should be back to normal with bakery days, milke deliveries and opening times 🤪

Open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm
Saturday 9.30am - 1.30pm

Wee reminder NO BREAD OR BAGELS this Friday 20th & Saturday 21st, sorry.

But, we do have a great selection if your looking for some last minute Fathers day gifts.

Great coffee selection, plenty top notch chocolate, tasty foody options and soaps.

This is your sign to pop into the Old Market on Tolbooth Street and pick up a freshly baked sourdough (plain or seeded avaialble) and/or some bagels.

We have plain bagels with different seeded toppings - poppyseed and sesame and cinnamon & raisin bagels.

Bake days are usually:

🥯 Wednesday
🥯 Friday
🥯 Saturday

I say usually, as this week (17th June) it is just Wednesday that we will have bread and bagels.

Unfortunately June seems to be a very busy month for us (personally) with various events to attend, to organise or to cater for, so this next few weeks bake days wont be as regular but I will definitely keep folks updated.

Our sourdough takes 3 days from start to finish so trying to fit it in around all the other stuff going on can be tricky.

Thank you to Diane for baking today - bread will be ready for opening from 9.30am 😊

I hope you have all managed to catch some sunshine between the wintry showers!

We will be open reduced hours on Easter Monday

10am - 12 midday

Then back to normal hours on Tuesday for all your refill, gifty or bagel needs (well bagels needs will be met on Wednesday!) 😉
