🥃 WHISKY TASTING: ISLAND HOPPING

From Arran to Orkney, encompassing Raasay, Skye, and Islay, come and enjoy the islands of Scotland from the comfort of the bottle shop. Peat isn't everything (as some may expect) so we'll have a variety of flavours from well loved and established distilleries alongside some new ones making big waves. No need to rely on ferries for this trip! ⛴️

Doing justice to the largest concentration of distilleries in the world can be difficult but we'll try! Come along to the bottle shop as Max Stephen guides you through five fab drams ranging from well known stalwarts such as Balvenie to lesser known favourites like Glentauchers. Look forward to some unusual casks, nice strengths, and perhaps discovering something new.

Created in 1944 when legendary bartender, Victor “Trader Vic” Bergeron, shared his new drink with 2 Tahitian friends who exclaimed, “Mai Tai-Roa Aé!” a Tahitian phrase meaning “Out of this world, the best!”

The Clover Club is a pre-Prohibition classic from Philadelphia’s club of the same name. Fruity, bright and smooth, this legendary cocktail is made with gin, raspberry and lemon.
