The bread baker is having a wee break so we won't be offering our freshly baked loaves this Sunday (6th September) or next Sunday (13th September.) Normal Service will be resumed on Sunday 20th September.
Don't worry, though - beer, pizzas and all the other good stuff will continue as normal throughout.

"Wee Morag saves the Day!"
So: a slight technical problem on the MV Corran on Thursday 30 July has resulted in the West Highland peninsulas being cut off from the mainland roads network again. But ... don't worry! Our friends The Highland Council have sprung into action to protect your access to award winning real ale, pizza and fun at the Highlands and Islands Thistle Awards Pub of the Year! Our valliant leaders have sourced a great wee boat and started a passenger service across the narrows, a shuttle bus from Nether Lochaber to town and an increased service on the Trioslaig ferry as well.
We tested out the lovely Morag Bheag last night and can confirm that it's one of the great nautical experiences of our time! Luxurious padded seating, easy access from the slipway and a unique up close view of the captain and navigation equipment combine to make this a trip not to be missed!
Running all day from 6:30 am until 9:30 pm until the big Corran Ferry is fixed, this rapidly deployed backup service is testament to the world-leading contingency planning which has been put in place by our ever caring Council.
Don't miss out - experience the thrill of the free high speed crossing, leave your car at home and use the hourly bus from Fort William and have a pint in the beer tent!

Sunday afternoon: so there’s walk-in pizza available at the brewery. Just arrive any time until 5pm for a spicy caldera, meaty highlander, piquant Venetian or whatever. Three cask ales always available too!

In reach of Edinburgh? Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA are having a massive beer festival at The Pitt in Edinburgh. We'll have a few beers on cask on the Friday and Saturday evenings, including out World Cup special Cream Ale, Cuach sa Cheò : it's a beautifully clear, balanced pale with a wee sweet finish. Everyone who has tried it loves it!

Ardgour Ales are kindly hosting a fundraising quiz and pizza afternoon to raise funds for our P6/7 residential trip this year.

Weave been really glad to host Nearly Wild Weaving in the Brewery Tap (estry) this week.

Our Lime tree is in full leaf for the Summer, our local Nearly Wild Weaving pal, Irene, is creating a work of art by the loch and the fior leann will be pouring beautifully.
Do pop by and have a weave, a snack, a coffee or whatever you fancy.
Whilst it’s likely that this fine weather will last uninterrupted until October, it’s not guaranteed so we suggest making the best of it
