Don’t forget to get your fresh farm eggs ready for pancake day! 🥞

Monday 12th 11:00-12:00pm 🥚

We are pleased to announce you are now able to order your fresh eggs from our happy hens!

Our eggs are a mix of colours and sizes.

How to get your eggs
1. Private message us with how many you would like.
2. Re-use your old egg boxes and bring one with you at collection.
3. Cook and enjoy!

All money collected will go towards the reopening of the farm. If you are unable to drive or get to the farm, we might be able to deliver so please do get in touch.

📣 Wondering if anyone can help us?

We are in need of timber, roof felt and chicken wire for a few of our projects at the moment.

If anyone has anything laying about could you please get in touch and we will collect them.

And the girls are in under the plum trees 😍

The ground under these trees is in desperate need of some TLC so hopefully the girls will do lots of trampling and pooping to get the ground moving.

After the girls have had a run through, we will be running another animal under the trees.
Any guess on what?

PS- it won’t be the chickens! 😃

Who remembers that old caravan we pulled out of the ditch? Well here she is! Transformed into a chicken coop!

Our happy hens moved in a week ago and are exploring their new home.

Their eggs will soon be on sale and all funds raised will go towards the farm 🐔

They are eggcellent!

We have had several really productive and exciting meetings this week with our Agroecological Consultant. The plans at the orchards are all based on Regenerative Agriculture i.e. the practice of farming which works in harmony with ecological processes to improve the environment. Creating healthy soil and boosting biodiversity are our ultimate aims which then improves our crops and the quality of what we produce. It's the ultimate win-win for the community and nature.
During our Grazing Management meetings we are planning how to use animals on the farm to get the health and vitality back into our soil. Animals will work their natural magic on the land. Through grazing, trampling and lots of lovely manure we will get our fields and orchards thriving. But we need to get them in the right place at the right time. It's a complex process but we can't wait to open up to the community to share with you all how it all works!
