It’s with great sadness that I have to tell you lovely Winnie passed over the rainbow bridge lastnight.
I know you all loved her as much as I did and you will all feel understandably sad, but we all need to remember how happy she made us with her big bear hugs and head flops into our laps and how loved she felt by each of you.
Let’s all try to remember her in her happy times ❤️

INVITATION TO THE FRIENDS OF LAINEY’S CARE FARM AGM Everyone welcome!

We can’t believe that The Friends of Lainey’s Care Farm have been in operation for nearly a whole year! What a lot they have achieved in their work to provide extras for our students and their families and carers.

Just for starters, they have provided entertainments for our students’ Christmas Party, a Christmas Drinks reception for families, organised a very popular Spring farm coffee morning, put on a sell out fundraising Quiz Night, funded a bus to the Kent Show, & provided lots of extras for the Summer Party! A hugely successful inaugural year for the small committee and their helpers, for which Lainey’s Care Farm is very grateful.

The committee is always on the look out for new members so if you think you could contribute any time or skills, do email on [email protected]

Next up for the Friends is the Annual General Meeting. This meeting is open to everyone via Zoom. The AGM ensures accountability through providing management and financial reviews, and also includes the annual election of officers.

At Laineys everyone does what they can to help others. Olive gave blood yesterday via a transfusion to help another dog. Well done Olive let’s hope the other dog gets better soon ❤️ 🐕

🩸🐾 A Huge Thank You to Our Hero, Olive! 🐾🩸

Today we'd like to give a very special shout-out to the amazing Olive, who recently donated blood to help another dog in need. ❤️

When a patient becomes seriously ill or is involved in an emergency, a blood transfusion can make all the difference. Thanks to generous canine donors like Olive, we're able to give other dogs the chance they desperately need.

Olive was an absolute superstar throughout her donation. She took everything in her stride, enjoyed plenty of fuss from the team, and, of course, received lots of treats and cuddles afterwards! 🦴💚

We're incredibly grateful to Olive and her wonderful owners for helping another family keep their beloved pet by their side. It's an extraordinary gift that truly can save lives.

Thank you, Olive – you're our hero! 🌟🐶

The Lovely Vicky is raising funds for The Friends of Lainey's Care Farm On July 12th 2026 she will participate in the Mid Kent 5 Miler. Running 5 miles around the picturesque countryside to raise funds and awareness for The Friends of Lainey's Care Farm.
