Introducing our new holiday let, Spring Meadows Shepherds Hut.

Our Shepherds Hut is situated in a quaint little nook of our horses pastures. Every morning you wake to a beautiful view of the western Lake District fells. The Hut is in an ideal place for viewing the local wildlife. Buzzards, Red Squirrels, Roe Deer, hares & a number of birds are among what can be seen. It's the perfect mix of privacy and tranquility whilst still being a 10-20 minutes drive from the nearest towns of Frizington, Cockermouth, Whitehaven & Workington.

Only 5 minutes drive up the road is the very popular Countryman pub open all day for meals.
The lovely little village of Ennerdale is a short drive away where you can enjoy a hot meal in The Shepherds Arms or The Fox & Hound.

There are a number of fells, lakes and walks a short drive away, including Ennerdale, Buttermere, Loweswater, Crummock & Cogra Moss. We are also a 20-30 minutes drive from the coastline with beaches such as St.Bees & Seascale.

A couple minutes walk away is the Ennerdale Brewery Tap & Bistro which serves tasty homemade food & drinks. About 100 or so yards down the lane is a large woodland, definitely worth an explore. We are also half a mile away from the C2C route ideal for cycling & walking.

Spring Meadows Shepherds Hut is the perfect base for anyone wanting to explore the Lake District and have somewhere quiet & cozy to come home to. Suitable for 2 people, inside is a double bed, small bathroom, kitchenette, sofa & log burner. Outside is a small enclosed space for sitting out and enjoying the view. Private parking is directly beside the Shepherds Hut.
