Lovely to get a mention in the latest Frodsham News.

They’ve shared a bit of the Sandstone story, from opening in February 2025 to the community side of the café, outside catering, local events and our picnic boxes aboard The Danny.

I also want to say a huge thank you to you… the customers. I know you can choose any café you like, so when you choose Sandstone, come back again, recommend us or bring someone new through the door, I genuinely never take that for granted.

It’s lovely to see the collaboration side mentioned too. Frodsham is at its best when local businesses support each other, communicate and remember that replying to people still costs absolutely nothing. 😂

🌟 WE’RE REOPENING TOMORROW! 🌟

After being closed due to illness, I’m delighted to say that Sandstone Café will reopen tomorrow.

Thank you so much for all your kind messages, patience and understanding while I’ve been recovering — your support has genuinely meant a great deal.

I’m really looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming everyone back! ❤️☕🍰

Unfortunately, due to illness, I was unable to open today and, regrettably, will not be able to open tomorrow.

I’m genuinely disappointed to let my loyal customers down, but I need to follow my doctor’s advice, the change in medication and give myself the time needed to recover.

I’m very sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause and really appreciate your understanding, patience and continued support.

Hopefully, I’ll be back Friday and welcome you all again then. ❤️

Sandstone will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 19th Aug)

Due to an asthma attack and chest infection, I will be taking an extra day’s rest tomorrow, as the last week has been a struggle staying open, ultimately making myself worse.

Big shout out to the lovely people (you know who you are), who have taken time out of their days to help me - all my love ❤️

Apologies for the inconvenience. I will see you lovely people on Thursday when I will be back open as normal.

☕🐾 Sandstone Frodsham — Dog of the Week 🐾☕

This week’s Dog of the Week is the adorable Ferg 🤍🐶

Just look at that sweet little face… isn’t he gorgeous? 🥰

Ferg popped in to see us this week and was an absolute delight from the moment he arrived. Quiet, gentle and full of character, he happily greeted everyone before finding the perfect spot to keep an eye on all the café action. 👀☕

We think Ferg has mastered the art of giving those irresistible puppy-dog eyes… and we’re sure he knew exactly how to charm everyone into giving him plenty of fuss! 😂❤️

Thank you for visiting us, Ferg. We loved having you at Sandstone and can’t wait to see you again soon for more cuddles, treats and tail wags. 🦴🐾
