OH MY! Thanks to a generous donation of pears 🍐 🍐🍐
(cheers Tracey and Dave S!) we have this..
and it’s delicious.. can we say that? well there’d be no point making stuff we didn’t think was delicious… so it IS VERY delicious 🤤 😂

Diced and lightly spiced pear chunks, homemade caramel, a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar layered amongst homemade oaty crumble and hot custard.

Next stop- women’s NUFC match at Gateshead International stadium on Sunday.. other things booked for the week after but can’t remember any of them atm.. 👍

Ready to go at Gather North Farmers & Indie Markets, the Manor House West Auckland.. find us outside between Grandpa’s Fish Bar and Horsepitality
If you’ve never been it’s well worth a look - it’s an excellent market, there’s so much to see!
We have a limited amount of new spiced pear and caramel crumbles and a small amount of smoked bacon and brie crepes so come early if you fancy either of those!

ANOTHER UPDATE! How cool is John ? It’s on the mend!! 😊😊

Poorly horsebox, secretly suffering from some sagging and bulges… 😣

Like its owners, it’s the vintage side of 50 and carrying the weight of all those crepes and crumbles so it’s no surprise (🤔) 😂

John will do some magic with a welder, a massive thick piece of metal, a lot of TLC and hopefully it’ll be fixed and smart as a carrot in time for this weekend!

We’ll be in Darlington on FRIDAY with Acropolis Street Food for the moonlight and memories walk in aid of St Teresa's Hospice ❤️

SATURDAY we are at S&A builders merchants in Crook for their birthday celebrations.. 🛠️

First (and possibly last 🤣🥴) time at Barney Farmers Market.. it’s been a traumatic morning trying to squeeze into our spot and level up on these cobbles and we currently have 2 wheels in the air 😂
Anyway, call by if you’re passing - who knows how long we’ll be balanced here for (even if it’s just to watch us wangle batter on a slope 🤣🫣)
