Getting the bales of hay in from the field to store in the shed. It’s a bumpy track and some of Sarah’s spiking could do with a bit of practice 🫣 but we’re happy to say there were no bales harmed in the process 🤣

Thank you to everyone who attended our introduction to spinning course at the Barthol Chapel Community Hub on Sunday, we hope you all enjoyed it. We loved teaching the spinning course, meeting new people who wanted to learn how to spin and chat all things sheep and wool (and bees 🫣). Thank you to Elaine at the hub for organising and we look forward to doing more courses in the future.

We will have a limited number of our outdoor reared, British saddleback pork boxes available from later on this week. (23/07/26)

Boxes are based on 1/4 pig so weights vary between 10-12kg and are priced at £120 including local delivery.

Boxes contain:
Chops
Rolled Shoulder
Gigot (roasting joint from leg)
Belly& ribs,
Leg strips
leg steaks
1/2 side of bacon (unsliced)
Pork sausages
pork burgers.
Pork shank.

We rear all of our pigs on our own farm, with free range to access indoor or outdoor spaces. Our pigs are a slow growing native breed, bred for flavour but still with a sensible muscle to fat ratio. They are professionally butchered for us and we deliver them directly from the butcher to you, for minimum food miles and maximum freshness.

We have a few jars of spring honey for sale. It is mainly from oil seed r**e flower so is great for hayfever. £6 for 227g jar. Just give us a message if you would like a jar. Can deliver to Methlick/Tarves/Barthol Chapel 😊

Our beef is from our Dexter cattle, a small native breed which we breed for their excellent beef quality and fat marbling.
The cattle are bred, reared and Finished by us on our family farm, entirely on grass. 🌱

The beef is aged for between 21-28 days and the. butchered for us by an award winning family owned craft butcher. 👌

We deliver the beef directly from the butcher to you.
We sell the beef in 10kg boxes containing:

2.5kg steak mince
2kg sausages (link/lorne)
1kg steak burgers
2kg diced steak
0.5kg minute steaks
2 x 1kg silverside/topside roasts.

£150 (includes local delivery)

Add 4 steaks, 2x Sirloin & 2x rump

For an additional £35.
