Congratulations all the Beltie owners at the Belted Galloway sales today - fab turnout. Back home and because the Beltie and baby field is getting a bit wet we decided to bring them in before the storm hits. Beltie young team and bullocks still out with plenty shelter. Baton the hatches everyone! 🌪️💨☔️🌧️

Oh my goodness what an amazing day .scot ! Thank you so much to everyone who came to visit our stall and had a chat. Met some lovely people, some existing customers and some lovely people who have previously bought Clanfin livestock. To top it all we found out at the end we had won every sausage class! To have award winning sausages coming from our own farm and butchery means so much to us, but without our beautiful Belted Galloways, Herdwick Sheep, and rare piggy breeds, the farm wouldn’t be what it is.

Thursday Shop day tomorrow! Our long awaited Bacon is back in stock - perfection takes time 🥰. Sausage rolls in the oven as we speak so they’ll be available fresh tomorrow too. We make everything here on the farm and keep trying new recipes and ideas to tickle your tastebuds although our Slowgrown Grassfed meat speaks for itself. Don’t forget to get your Christmas orders in!

Wow wow wow! I can finally give all you Clanfin cowboys our charity total! As you know we were raising money for Ayrshire Cancer Support and Endometriosis UK. With Endometriosis UK doing an amazing match fund to anything donated on their Big Give page this week, we kept things going longer as it meant that their half of the cash donations doubled! Including every penny you gave and every penny match funded the grand total raised was £7453.26! We can’t thank you all enough for everything- same time next year??? 🫣🤠😂🥰 ###

Taking our animals all the way from farm to fork is still an emotional process but having our own butchery means we can take it a step further to make the very most of every cut. Colin and Alan have been working hard to bring our beautiful pork to your table - whether that’s an unbelievable Double Loin Chop, Fillet of Pork for a mouth watering Thai Curry, or the epic sausage making of our Christmas Chipolatas! And yes tonight’s tea is the humongous Chop 😋!
